Paul Conroy is a broadcast engineer with extensive operational and technical experience in the Australian radio and television industry.

Paul currently works with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and recently completed a contract with the Macquarie Radio Network as the Operations Manager and Chief Technician for 2GB's Beijing Olympic Games coverage. Paul also provided day-to-day technical services for 2GB's National Rugby League coverage for seven seasons.

Prior to a career in broadcasting, Paul gained experience as an audio engineer for many local Sydney bands for over a decade, worked as a noise consultant for two specialist environmental and architectural acoustic firms, taught audio engineering at the Australian Institute of Music and completed a year-long acoustics research project with CSIRO in collaboration with a local microphone manufacturer.

When not working, Paul enjoys playing the piano, writing music, travelling (see photos in the links page), reading a decent novel, walking Penny (the dog), boating, going to the gym and cooking.

As Paul is always looking to help businesses establish web sites and project manage broadcast facility upgrades, feel free to drop Paul an e-mail via the Contact Me link above.
